The Christofle Asia Boating Awards returns to Shanghai in 2008
 

For the fourth consecutive year Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating will be organising this highly anticipated event. Attendance at this prestigious event will be by invitation only, but for 2008 we would like to consider the wisdom of our readers in the initial nominations.

We are also delighted to announce the inclusion of 5 new categories in this year's awards, acknowledging the significance of innovation and evolution in design in creating the increasingly brilliant sailing craft taking to the seas.

How to be nominated

This year we are inviting yacht builders, marinas, charter companies, personalities ,or design representatives to write in and tell us who deserves to be nominated for one of the categories in the upcoming Christofle Asia Boating Awards. Whilst we cannot guarantee that you will find yourself on our short list of nominations, we would be happy to forward your comments to our panel of judges.

1 Submit through email in concise point form in no more than 200 words stating reason(s) for your nomination
2 State clearly the category in which you would like to nominate or be nominated
3 Strictly one (1) email per category. If you are submitting for multiple categories, please ensure that you send them through separate emails
4 Please attach two (2) hi-resolution images per submission (maximum file size is 5mb)
5 Email all the above to awards@bluincmedia.com
 

Note:

 Submission for nomination closes strictly at 5pm (HK Time) on 25th January 2008 (Friday).
Short list of nominations will be announced in the March/April 2008 issue of Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines.

Judging

To ensure complete transparency and high credibility in our awards, we will be keeping to the tried and tested format of inviting a panel of experts to give their unbiased and objective opinions on which yacht builders, marinas, charter companies, personalities and design representatives deserve to be nominated. From the shortlist, panel members will each pick their first choice in each category. The selections will be sent directly to the law firm that will reveal the final results at our event in April.
